Thoughts will come as they will, let them float by like feathers in the wind and replace the thoughts that cause you the most anxiety and fear with those that motivate and empower you. When I was younger I always felt out of place. We When I was younger I always felt out of place. Weird. Strange. Maybe because we moved so much I was always the new kid. I never embraced that weirdness. I always tried to live under the expectation of others. Don't do that. Express your strangeness. It is what we need in this world.

For more than 10 years all I did was work on makin For more than 10 years all I did was work on making myself a better person. At some point it became an obsession. All day every day was about doing things to elevate myself. Meditation, fasting, visualization, Reiki, candle work, etc. It was all the time. I never let go to just "be". This is because of fear. Fear of failing, of disappointing others and not being "good enough". To hell with that. Take some time each day to better yourself...sure. But being.... that is where you blossom.
When I first found spirituality it was after being When I first found spirituality it was after being Christian and Muslim and studying other religions. I always had questions they could never answer. I was also admonished for my questions and told to have faith. With my spirituality now I have none of that. Because the answers come from within me. From my soul. From God within me. I am not saying to not be religious but make sure that you know without a doubt that you are believing from your soul and not because it is what you were taught as a child. Dig deep.
Every single day we lie to ourselves. Especially Every single day we lie to ourselves. Especially if we let our ego do the talking. These lies make us act them out in real life. Why not tell a lie that helps. If you think you are bad at math for instance.... just replace that saying math is fun and easy for me. And watch how your mind and your actions towards math changes. It may take time to fully embody the new thought but isn't it worth trying at least?
